Replacements

(applicable only to participants non-residing in Italy)

Replacements are possible within the same team among participants who have already completed their registration. Replacements can be made until 26^th May 2027 upon payment of a 40,00 € processing fee.

The transfer of the registration to another person precludes the possibility of being registered again by other modalities in the same year.

For the replacement it is necessary to follow 2 steps:
STEP 1:
please fill in the replacement form and send it back before May 26^th 2027 by email to: info@maratona.it

The replacement form can be downloaded from February 10^th 2027 onwards.

STEP 2:
A few days after requesting the replacement (step 1), the new participant will receive an email with the indications on how to confirm his/her registration.
The confirmation consists of:
a) online sending of some more personal data;
b) acceptance of the conditions of entry;
c) payment of a 40,00 euro processing fee;
d) the online upload of the medical certificate of physical eligibility for cycling sport activity according to the Italian D.M.V. 18/02/1982. Medical certificates for other sports such as triathlon, duathlon, athletics, etc. are not accepted.
The medical certificate must not be dated more than one year prior to the date of the event (issued NOT before July 4^th 2026). All participants have to use the template of the medical certificate, which is valid for the Italian Gran Fondos and can be downloaded HERE.

ATTENTION: medical certificate uploaded to the myDS account will NOT be taken into consideration.
If the medical certificate has not been sent before May 26^th 2027, the participant will not get the starting number, but only the race pack without the starting number. In this case, the participant will not be allowed to take part in the competition.

ATTENTION
Fidelity members and participants admitted to the race because not drawn in the last 6 editions cannot be replaced.
