How to register?

(applicable only to participants non-residing in Italy)

PART 1
HOW TO PRE-REGISTER?

PRE-REGISTRATION OPENING: from October 14^th to November 10^th 2026

Please read the conditions of entry carefully before proceeding, as this form is provided only as a registration guide and does not replace the official conditions of entry.

1.1 WHO NEEDS TO PRE-REGISTER?
The pre-entry has to be sent by all participants who want to take part in the race.

1.2 WHO DOES NOT NEED TO PRE-REGISTER?
• participants purchasing a package from our official tour operators;
• participants purchasing registrations for which the surcharge will be assigned to charitable institutions.

2. All pre-registration requests submitted to the organisation by November 10^th 2026 (until midnight GMT +1) will be entered into the draw, which will take place in the second half of November 2026. 
Drawn participants will receive an email with instructions on how to pay the registration fee. Payment must be completed no later than December 10^th 2026. Those who do NOT complete the payment by this deadline will automatically be cancelled from the participant list.
On February 10^th 2027 participants who were drawn and paid the registration fee before December 10^th 2026, will receive an email with detailed instructions to complete their registration before May 26^th 2027.

3. Pre-registration can only be completed online on www.maratona.it
Pre-registrations on paper forms will not be accepted. Pre-registration can be done individually OR as a group.
Cyclists who wish to take part in the event together with a partner, friends, or a team are strongly advised to pre-register as a group (so that they participate jointly in the draw), rather than individually (individual pre-registrations are entered into the draw separately).
After choosing the appropriate pre-registration form (individual or group), please proceed as follows:

ONLINE INDIVIDUAL PRE-REGISTRATION
3.1 Enter the official website of the “Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel” www.maratona.it and select the option "individual pre-registration".

3.2 Complete the pre-registration form and provide the details of your chosen payment method: credit card or other payment modalities depending on the country. The pre-entry fee is 3,00 €.

ONLINE GROUP PRE-REGISTRATION
Group pre-registration requires a minimum of two cyclists and has no maximum limit.

3.3 Enter the official website of the “Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel” www.maratona.it and select the option "pre-registration for groups".

3.4 Information for groups can be provided in two ways:
• fill in the online group pre-registration form with the details of each group member and make a joint payment;
• download the Excel document for group pre-registration from the online pre-registration procedure, fill it in and upload it online and make the joint payment.
For group pre-registrations with many cyclists, we recommend using the Excel file to avoid data loss due to possible connection interruptions. The cumulative payment in order to be extracted as a group can be done by credit card or other payment modalities depending on the country. The pre-entry fee is 3,00 euro per person.

3.5 The teams and sporting-groups that do a group pre-registration will participate to the draw as a group. For the draw they will be given a number (means one possibility) pro group. If this number is drawn, all members contained in the same pre-registration list are admitted to the race.

3.6 (for both pre-registration options) Wait for the draw, which will take place in the second half of November 2026, to see whether the pre-registration has been accepted. All participants in the draw are listed on our website. One day after the draw the updated list with all participants admitted to the race will be published on our website www.maratona.it

PART 2
REGISTRATION
Registration for the Maratona needs to be completed in two phases.

First phase: after the draw until December 10^th 2026
Drawn participants will receive an email with instructions for paying 185,00€ which includes the registration fee (165,00€), the deposit for the chip (10,00€) and the one-day licence (10,00€) in accordance with Italian law. 
The payment fees are shown in the payment procedure and are at the expense of the participant. Payment must be made no later than December 10^th 2026. Those who do NOT complete the payment by this deadline will automatically be cancelled from the participant list.

Second phase: from February 10^th 2027 to May 26^th 2027
On February 10^th 2027, all registered participants (drawn participants who paid the registration fee by December 10^th 2026, charity registrations and registrations through tour operators) will receive an email with detailed instructions to complete their registration by May 26^th 2027.

The confirmation consists in:
a) the acceptance of the regulations;
b) the online upload of the medical certificate for cycling sport activity according to the Italian D.M.V. 18/02/1982. Medical certificates for other sports such as triathlon, duathlon, athletics etc. are not accepted. The medical certificate must not be dated more than one year prior the date of the event (issued NOT before July 4^th 2026). All participants have to use the template 2027 of the medical certificate, which is valid for the Italian Gran Fondos and can be found at the following link:

ATTENTION: medical certificate uploaded on myDS account will NOT be taken into consideration.
If the medical certificate has not been sent before May 26^th 2027, the participant will not get the starting number, but only the race pack without the starting number. The participant will not be allowed in this case to take part in the competition.

CHARITY ENTRIES
5. If you are not among the lucky ones drawn at the draw which will take place in the second half of November 2026 you can choose the option of purchasing one of the 400 starting numbers whose surcharge will be assigned to charitable institutions.
200 starting numbers are available online starting November 25^th 2026, the remaining 200 places as of March 18^th 2027. Further info at: www.maratona.it/en/charity-entries-2027

ADMISSION AFTER 6 NEGATIVE DRAWS
6. Furthermore pre-registered participants not drawn for the 2027 edition and reported in the pre-registration list but not in the list of drawn participants and starting list of the last 5 (five) editions 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 will be readmitted to the race. <

PREREGISTRATION GROUPS OF WOMEN
7. After the draw, only groups of women who were not drawn will be admitted for a maximum of 200 places (the date of pre-registration will be decisive).
