How to register?

(applicable only to participants non-residing in Italy)

PART 1
HOW TO PRE-REGISTER?

PRE-REGISTRATION OPENING: from October 8^th to November 4^th 2025

The pre-registrations are closed.

• 200 Charity entries online on November 19^th 2025. Further 200 charity entries online on March 19^th 2026.
• Registration packages (accommodation + guaranteed entry)

 PART 2

REGISTRATION
Registration for the Maratona needs to be completed in two phases.

First phase: after the draw until December 4^th 2025
Drawn participants will receive an email with instructions for paying 180,00€ which includes the registration fee (160,00€), the deposit for the chip (10,00€) and the one-day licence (10,00€) in accordance with Italian law. 
The payment fees are shown in the payment procedure and are at the expense of the participant. Payment must be made no later than December 5^th 2024. Those who do NOT complete the payment by this deadline will automatically be cancelled from the participant list.

Second phase: from February 10^th 2026 to May 27^th 2026
On February 10^th 2026, all registered participants (drawn participants who paid the registration fee by December 4^th 2025, charity registrations and registrations through tour operators) will receive an email with detailed instructions to complete their registration by May 27^th 2026.

The confirmation consists in:
a) the acceptance of the regulations;
b) the online upload of the medical certificate for cycling sport activity according to the Italian D.M.V. 18/02/1982. Medical certificates for other sports such as triathlon, duathlon, athletics etc. are not accepted. The medical certificate must not be dated more than one year prior the date of the event (issued NOT before July 5^th 2025). All participants have to use the template 2026 of the medical certificate, which is valid for the Italian Gran Fondos and can be found at the following link:

ATTENTION: medical certificate uploaded on myDS account will NOT be taken into consideration.
If the medical certificate has not been sent before May 27^th 2026, the participant will not get the starting number, but only the race pack without the starting number. The participant will not be allowed in this case to take part in the competition.

CHARITY ENTRIES
5. If you are not among the lucky ones drawn at the draw which will take place in the second half of November 2025 you can choose the option of purchasing one of the 400 starting numbers whose surcharge will be assigned to charitable institutions.

ADMISSION AFTER 6 NEGATIVE DRAWS
6. Furthermore pre-registered participants not drawn for the 2026 edition and reported in the pre-registration list but not in the list of drawn participants and starting list of the last 5 (five) editions 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 will be readmitted to the race. 

PREREGISTRATION GROUS OF WOMEN
7. After the draw, only groups of women who were not drawn will be admitted for a maximum of 200 places (the date of pre-registration will be decisive).
