Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel - July 4th, 2021

Where is the start and the finish of the race?
The start of the race is in La Villa – Alta Badia – Dolomites (BZ) – Italy and the arrival in Corvara – Alta Badia.

Can those registered for the Maratona of July 4th 2021 withdraw and transfer their registration to 2022?
It is possible to transfer the registration to 2022 upon written communication (indicating name, surname and date of birth) by e-mail to info@maratona.it by June 1st 2021.
Entries by invitation are not transferable to 2022.

What happens with the gadgets purchased online for 2020/2021?
The gadgets already purchased can be collected at the "online purchases pick up" counter on the side of the Maratona Shop.
In the case of transfer of the registration to 2022, the items purchased will not be transferred to 2022, but can be collected this year by third parties upon presentation of the voucher that will be sent to the buyer in June 2021.
The items not collected will be sent later.

When do I have to select the route of the Maratona? Are there any restrictions in the selection of the route?
There are 3 possible routes for the 2021 Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel. Participants are free to select the route best suited to their ability, also during the course of the event, entirely according to their own judgement.
Cyclists between 71 (seventy one) and 79 (seventy nine) can only run the shortest courses (55km and 106 km).

Time limit
Corvara direction Campolongo (55km) 11.15 a.m.
Cernadoi direction Passo Giau (76km) 11.45 a.m.
Finish: 55km: 1 p.m.
Finish 106km and 138km: 4.15 p.m.

Maximum limit for assistance:
Refreshments and mechanical and medical assistance will be guaranteed until the following time:
Passo Sella 11.15 a.m.
Passo Campolongo 11.45 a.m.
Passo Gardena/Colle S. Lucia 12.15 p.m.
Passo Giau 2 p.m.
Passo Falzarego 3.45 p.m.

How does the division into starting groups run for 2021?
The division is based on point 3 of the Conditions of Entry 2021; the times refer to the last 4 editions of the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019).

Where and when does the starting number pick-up take place?
The starting number pick-up takes place at the events hall "Ciasa Runcher" - Str. San Linert 10 in San Leonardo/Badia - Alta Badia:

• Wednesday, 30.06.2021 from 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.*
• Thursday, 01.07.2021 from 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
• Friday, 02.07.2021 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, 03.07.2021 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

*PELASE NOTE: The starting number pick-up on Wednesday evening will be possible ONLY for those who have a certificate of recovery or a Covid-19 vaccination certificate. For those who will present a negative antigen swab test or a molecular test, the pick-up will be possible from Thursday onwards.

Who and how can pick-up the starting number?
Following 3 documents are needed to pick up the starting number:
1) The PRINTED voucher that will be sent by e-mail around June 25th
2) Original valid identification document (identity card, passport or driving license)
3) One of the certifications according to the safety protocol maratona.it/safety:
• Certificate of recovery from Covid-19, valid on race day
• Covid-19 vaccination certificate (full vaccination or first injection before/on June 19th)
• a negative antigen swab test or molecular test carried out from Thursday July 1st and therefore valid until July 4th, race day.
• Italian Green Pass
• Corona Pass Alto Adige
• Digital Green Certificate (DGC)
Only certificates in Italian, English or German will be accepted.
A pick up from third parties is not accepted.

When is the assembly point and at what time is the start of the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel?
The assembly is possible as from 5.30 a.m. and the start of the race is at 6.30 a.m. Anybody who has not entered the grid 15 minutes before the start will be automatically diverted to the last starting grid.

Are the roads of the race open to the traffic?
The roads will be closed to traffic (including cyclists) during most of the race. The closure timetable of the roads will be published as soon as the responsible authorities will confirm the times.

Is it possible to have a private mobile and mechanical assistance following me?
The assistance of private vehicles following the race is strictly prohibited, under penalty of disqualification of the athlete.

Will there be a massage service this year and will it be possible to use the showers?
Unfortunately this year, due to the particular situation, massages will not be offered and it will not be possible to use the showers.

When and where does the official prize giving ceremony take place? Who will be awarded?
The official awards ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. in the ice stadium and the first 3 (three) in the overall individual classification and the first classified in each category for the medium and Maratona distances will be awarded. Prizes will be handed over only to winners taking part at the ceremony.
The awarding of the teams will not be carried out. The prize will be sent to the top 3 (three) teams of the team classification.
The Sellaronda course does not foresee an official classification.

How can I register for the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel 2022?
The conditions of entry for the 35th Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel of 03.07.2022 will be published on our website www.maratona.it at the end of September 2021.
