The Craw wall

Following the success of adding the "Mür dl Giat" to the course last year, we have added another brutal climb to the course this year:

Those participants doing the medium or long course of the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel will ride the new climb called "The Craw Wall" or in ladin language "Mür dl Corf," rather than doing the first part of the Campagnolo twice.

During last autumn first works have been done on this road in order to connect the final part with the last Campolongo hairpin. This last part of the road will be paved during spring.

The "Mür dl Corf" is 1.3 km long with an average gradient of 8% and peaks up to 15%. A positive with this route change for the riders is that the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel medium and long courses will be 300 meter shorter than last year.

Like the "Mür dl Giat" in La Villa there will be also a fan zone on the "Mür dl Corf", where supporters will be able to follow the race live! The live TV coverage of the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel, broadcasted by Italian Rai3, will be shown on large the screen, with drinks, snacks and musical entertainment supplied. We’ll also be distributing gadgets until they run out!

Mür dl Giat and Mür dl Corf in one day!
It’s possible for spectators to watch the athletes doing both the walls in Corvara and La Villa. Once the participants have climbed the "Mür dl Corf" in Corvara, you can take the Col Alt gondola in Corvara that takes you on the Piz La Villa plateau. From there a shuttle will take you to the Piz La Villa gondola that will bring you to the bottom of the "Mür dl Giat" wall.
